What to wear to early morning Catholic wedding?

We are invited to a 9:30 am Catholic wedding, with a reception to follow in the church hall. I have a black cotton dress that has pretty pale green flowers on it that has a matching green sweater. Is this appropriate? I also have a pretty navy linen dress, would that be okay? Also does my husband need to wear a suit, or is a shirt and tie okay? Thank you, I haven't been to a wedding in a while and I don't know how formal the wedding is.

Dear Wedding Guest,

Typically a wedding at this time is fairly informal. However, Catholic weddings tend to be more formal for the time of day. So, either dress would work for you and your husband could wear a sport coat with his slacks, shirt, and tie rather than a suit.

Best wishes,
