I am attending a 7pm wedding in Dallas for my best friend from middle school. The invite doesn't say anthing about attire. Just assuming it will be outside b/c it says "Women's Garden". I'd like to wear a strapless green sundress, with bone colored sandals. Is this too casual?

Figuring out what to wear to a wedding is always hard, especially when you haven't been to the location of the reception. You can always call the "Women's Garden" and ask them what type of attire is appropriate. If you decide not to call, a cocktail dress is usually your best and safest way to go. Dressy and formal, but not too formal and over the top.
The green dress sounds beautiful, but if you feel that it isn't dressy enough, just dress it up by accessorizing. Accessories always complete the "look". You can wear crystal jewelry, chandelier or cluster drop earrings, a beaded bag, a sheer shawl (if outside, it might be a good idea in case you get chilly), you can even add flowers or decorative pins to you hair. Have fun with the it!
