Winter White Pants?

I am attending a wedding for my neice mid Dec in FL. The wedding is at 4 pm followed by reception. Dress is cocktail. Is it appropriate for me to wear winter white pants? My top is a sleeveless gold with a gold lace overlay. Please advise if it would be better to wear black pants instead...Thanks

Dear Winter White,

Go with the pants that look the best and feels cool. Even in December it will be warm in Florida. The white is perfectly fine.
