HELP!!! I have a wedding to go to this saturday. I WAS a bridesmaid for this wedding, but unfortunatly had to back out $$ wise. I know, I know HORRIBLE!! TUST me I have felt VERY bad over this. What is worse is that teh bride to be has BARELY speokento me since. SO I KNow she is upset. I woudl be too, so I dont blame her. Okay, my question is I have a black skirt and wrap with a green tank top - very preyy - that silky lingerie kinda look that is on style now. Problem is the green is very similar to my friends "colour" IS THIS S PROBLEM? I don't know. People wore "my colour" to my wedding and I didnt care. It's just a colour. But is it TOTALLY bad becasue I WAS at one point a BM??? Need advise soon!!! Wedding is Aug 6. Thanks for ALL your help!!

The one thing you wouldn't want to do is to draw attention to yourself. If you were to wear the same or close to the same color as the bridesmaids, it may appear as if you are trying to look like a family member or part of the bridal party.
It seems as if you are thinking the same thing by asking if there would be a problem. It is best to go with your inner thoughts about this. Choose another top.
