I am trying to decide what to wear to a mid November 4 pm wedding and reception in Maryland. My husband is a groomsman and the groomsmen are wearing suits instead of tuxs. What would be proper for me to wear as a guest (I'm in my early-30s)? In looking at other posts, I am not sure if an an evening suit or little black dress equivalent is the appropriate? If so, can you please explain what these are? I have a mid-calf length olive green (with mottled shades of olive print-very subdued) A-line sleeveless dress with a matching suit jacket and was wondering if this would be okay. You are correct in considering the little black dress/evening suit option. What this means is anything within that same formality. So, your outfit is perfect.
