     black tie optional

The wedding invitation says black tie optional and valet parking. It is at 5pm, reception at 7pm. It is in june. I bought a dress that is light blue with an embroidered bodice, and the bottom is satin with toole over top. is this too dressy?

thank you :)

There is no way for us to know if your dress is appropriate from the dress description you've given. Can you give more details like length and style of dress, fabric, etc? If you have a picture of the dress you cna upload it with the upload feature below.
