i am the ex wife of the father of a bride getting married at 3pm on 10/23. i know not to wear the same color as the party girls and theres a dinner reception and cocktails after, so how formal do i dress????? i will be on display next to my ex the whole time so am concerned. thanks.

Hello Roxane,
You would dress similarly to the bridal party in formality and color--not the same color, just one that compliments. You want to look good in the pictures. Choose a dress or suit that seems to fit the formality of the others and feels good. If you feel good in the outfit, you will shine.
