I am attending a large church wedding and reception soon. I know the rule about not wearing white; however, does this rule apply to sweaters as well as dresses?
I have a beautiful white sweater which I'd love to use to cover my shoulders in church. I definitely won't wear it if the color detracts from the bride.
Not to worry. That rule only applies to dresses that appear to be a wedding dress. Guests can now wear any color except red. So, feel free to wear white.
