Brown suit for groom for outdoor wedding?

My fiance and I are getting married outdoors at a resort in September. Is brown a good suit color for the groom?

If it's an outdoor wedding, I would suggest a lighter shade of brown, or beige/taupe color for a suit. Enjoy the wedding!
