Footwear for groom in Caribbean wedding

Hello, im getting married in St. Lucia early next year. I need to know what footwear would best "go" with a sandy linen suit i have purchased. Sandals would be great, but when i get home to England we have an evening party planned and it will probably be about 5 degrees celsius! can you please help. Thanks.

Get sandals and shoes. Switch out of sandals into shoes for the reception.
