     Groomsmen and grooms

I thought I posted this before but here it is:

Our colors are chocolate and fuchsia with gold accents. The bridesmaids are wearing chocolate dresses with pink flowers. We figured the groomsmen will wear tan/beige suits with chocolate ties. Now just trying to figure out my attire. Do I need to be very similar to the groomsmen and wearing something tan/beige with chocolate. Or can I wear, say, a black tux with chocolate or tan/beige vest and tie? I'm just trying to get my colors coordinated. The bride will be in white. Thanks!!!!

Dear Anchorman,

All men usually dress the same. The groom may choose a slightly different texture in a suit, but it should be the same. He may have a different color tie or vest.

A tux is evening formal attire. Plus, it isn't appropriate to mix formalities--a tux vs suits.

Best wishes,
