Hosts attire

I have seen on several other posts that the hosts should be wearing same attire as groosmen. However, I don't really consider my hosts as part of my wedding party and I don't really want them to look just like the groosmen. My groomsmen will be wearing ivory tuxedo's with green vests to match the bridesmaid dresses. Can my hosts wear ivory suit's? And if so what color should their shirts be?

Dear Soon2bmsE,

If by hosts you mean the fathers, they really should dress in the same attire as the groomsmen. They could wear a different color shirt though.

Please remember that ivory and white tuxes are reserved for warmer months and the tux is formal evening attire.
