Should groom's vest color match bride's dress color?
I was told by a friend that the groom is supposed to wear a vest under his jacket that is the same color as the bride's dress. Is this true?

No, it is absolutely not true, otherwise all grooms would be wearing white or ivory vests, wouldn't they? To view creative modern styles and color combination for vest/tie, I suggest you search the internet or bridal magazines for the latest tuxedo styles and take a look at fresh ideas for color solutions.
