What Should the Best Man Attire be for a Morning Wedding?
My son and his fiancee have selected a standard black tux with a green vest and green Windsor tie for an 11 a.m. outdoor wedding. I am the best man and there will be only 1 bridesmaid, although the wedding guest list is about 300 people. My understanding is that a morning suit would have been the proper selection. In view of his attire, however, what should I wear? Should I match his level of dress, or is a dark business suit equally appropriate?

Dear Garya,
You are correct that the morning suit or stroller is the proper attire for a daytime formal wedding. Please inform your son. But, if he is determined to wear the tux, which is formal evening attire, it is best to wear one as well.
