This is more of a fashion question. It is a military wedding. groom and best man in Air Force blue dress uniforms. Two groomsmen in green army dress uniforms. Two remaining men are non-military. There will be Air Force saber bearers in uniform. There is also a Jr groomsman, a ring bearer, and father of the bride. I thought navy blue suits for groomsmen and father. Jr. groomsman and ring bearer in navy pants with ties that match and are also the same as non-military gromsmen. Bride says black suits (and pants) instead of the navy. I am concerned about so many colors. We are using navy blue in decorations also. What are your thoughts?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I suggest you follow the bride's wishes and put non-military men in black suits/tuxedos. That will give the blue and green military uniforms more distinction. Enjoy the wedding! Irina Feygin, IMpeccable iMage, Inc. Image and Beauty and For Princess Bride

I completely agree. And, if the wedding is held in the evening, the men could be in tuxedos. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
