4 o'clock Ceremony, what should the groom wear?

Our wedding is at 4:00 pm on a Saturday. We want a fairly casual wedding, but of course, to look nice. Can the groom wear a tux, if so, what kind? Is a suit a better choice?

Dear Cindy,

While 4 pm may be close enough to the 6 pm beginning time for formal evening attire, especially if the reception follows, a tux is not casual. A suit would be better.

Best wishes,
