Beige Suits for summer wedding

I'm getting married in July, at an upscale golf lodge in New Jersey. I'm trying to avoid black tuxes due to time of year and location. Can groomsmen and groom wear beige suits? Ceremony is at 3pm, reception is at 5pm. Please help.

Dear Fatirizzo,

It would be too early in the day for tuxes anyway.

The beige suits would be fine as long as the wedding is semi-formal.
