Champagne Tux with Ivory wedding gown

We are having an outdoor afternoon wedding ceremony on the water. The wedding will be in late July, so I'm thinking it will be quite warm. I really don't want to do black tuxes because of the time/weather/location/formality. I was thinking champagne tuxes, but my dress is ivory and I'm not sure how that would look. The bridesmaid dresses are light orange and pink. What do you think?

Dear Caitlinnni,

Lighter colored tuxes are proper for this time of year and warmer climates. So, the black tux wouldn't be appropriate, although many still wear them.

I'm not an expert in color, but I believe Champagne tuxes would be wonderful.

Best wishes,
