My colors are emerald green and cream. Is it acceptable for the groom and groomsmen to wear a cream or light tan tux with vests and ties that match the emerald bridesmaid dresses for an October wedding?

Lighter colored tuxedos are worn in warm months and in warmer climate for formal evening weddings. Darker are worn during the cooler weather. So, if you are located in a warm climate and this is held during the evening, it is fine.
