Do I pay for the Tux?

My cousin is getting married this summer. I got fitted for the tux today (I am a groomsman) and was presented with a bill. I was under the impression that the families normally pick up the tab for the tuxes, dresses, ect... Is this true or am I expected to pay for it?

Thanks

Groomsmen are expected to pay for their own attire.
