FOB active duty military wearing chokers?

Is it proper etiquette for active duty military FOB to wear chokers/uniform to an afternoon wedding, ceremony and/or reception if no other member of wedding party will be doing so? He is the only military member participating in the wedding. Can he wear uniform to ceremony and then change to to tux/men's attire for pics and reception? Thank you. Dawn

Dear Patriotpets,

It would be better to dress as the other men. However, if the uniform is in the same formality as the other men's attire, then it is fine. He shouldn't change.

Best wishes,
