Father of the Groom wearing tux?

What is the norm, father of the groom wearing a tux or just a nice suit? Also, do stepfathers wear tuxes?

Father if the groom will wear the same attire as the rest of the men in the bridal party. However, the tuxedo is formal evening attire so hopefully the wedding is in the evening. Speak to your son about what he expects.

Stepfathers do not typically dress as the groomsmen unless they are being treated as a father, are a member of the bridal party or escorting the bride.
