     Father of the bride

I'm having an outdoor evening ceremony (5:30pm) with a tropical theme. I want to keep it informal and have already decided on the groomsmen attire (white linen pants with orange, yellow and coral shirts) but what should my father wear? I don't think he'll look good in that attire. He is more of a biker kind of man and colorful shirts on him scare me...any suggestions??

Dear Nikol,

The fathers are supposed to dress the same as the groomsmen. Since this is informal, it shouldn't be that crucial that he wears a colorful shirt. Just try to find something that appears close to that attire. Perhaps he could wear the same slacks with a muted color shirt.

Best wishes,
