We are planning a formal wedding (starting at 5pm) in Manhattan. My wedding gown is white and our wedding colors are mainly wine red and light pink (the bridesmaids will wear wine red dresses and the groomsmen will have wine red vests). Flowers are wine red, light pink and white with a lot of greenery.
My fiance wants to wear a green vest - will this work? Could you suggest a specific shade of green (he has a pretty pale complexion with light brown hair)? Thanks!

Dear Bride,
It is difficult to say not seeing the actual colors. Typically I suggest matching the colors up to see if they blend. But, I'm thinking that a dark green, such as a forest green may work. I am fair and dark green is a very good color for me. Plus, it seems as if those colors would blend with it.

Dear Rebecca,
I am not a fan of green for the groom. I believe the groom's vest should accent your dress, which would be white, ivory, champagne, black or silver/platinum.
