     Groom and groomsmen attire

My wedding will be held in April 2008 and will be held at 3 in the afternoon. We had planned on having the groom and groomsmen wear tuxedos but I have read that they should be for a formal evening event. Our wedding will be semi formal and I have read that the men should dress in suits or strollers. Would matching dress slacks, dress shirt and tie be okay as well without a jacket?

Dear Bpbride,

It is best to keep all attire in the same formality. Slacks, dress shirt, and tie would be informal. It is best to stay with the suit. All men should have at least one good suit. They would need one for interviewing one day anyway. Wink

Best wishes,
