Does the father of the groom have to wear a tuxedo? It wasn't mandatory by the Bride or groom. The wedding is around 200 people. What is the proper thing to do in this situation? I have a nice black suit I was going to wear. Thanks..

Both father are supposed to dress the same as the groomsmen. If they are in tuxes, the fathers are as well.
