Not only do we do music but we also have worked with digital photo editing and I have worked in the mens clothing industry...so I am looking at it from at least two sides of the industry, fashion and photography.

The reason I mention photography is that depending on the lighting and the photographer if you have too much contrast between the tux and shirt it may cause problems with balancing the shots especially if the photographer uses a digital camera. If the tux is dark and the shirt light you may have problems getting the camera to show the features of the groom since he is dark skinned. Try a shirt that is little less than half the darkness of the tux, so a medium dark pink shirt should do fine.

Yes he probably would look good in burgundy but of course some men don't like wearing pink so you could try a dusky rose or mauve as long as it doesn't clash with the brides dress. I'm a man and I have worn pink before and I don't have a problem with it but of course it is a matter of choice. Wink
