I'm The Brother With No Part In The Ceremony: Tux?

My sister is getting married and apparently had planned on me wearing a tux like the groom, his guys, and my dad. My three other sisters are her bridesmaids. I have, as of yet, no active part in the wedding. I told her it probably wouldn't make sense that I dress the same as dad and the others since I'm not involved in the wedding. Her response was silence, which either meant she was pondering the idea or thought I was being stubborn.
So: Would it make sense for me to dress like the men in the wedding party?

Dear Woofmutt,

Very cool name by the way.

No it doesn't make any sense and most likely would be confusing for the guests. So, as much as I would like to say for you to listen to your sister (girl solidarity), I can't. You are right. Wink

Best wishes,

Hey, thanks! I will politely mention the expert opinion if she presses...Though if she absolutely insists she wants me in a tux, I'll go with her wishes.
