What is the proper attire for the groom for a 6:30 wedding?

It's to be at 6:30 pm outdoors in Newport, RI.

Dear Pws,

It depend on the formality of the wedding. If it is formal, a tuxedo is perfect. If it is not, it could be a suit or slacks and a jacket. Just try to match the formality of the groom's attire to the bride's.
