Proper tuxs for time of day

Our wedding is going to be at 11:30 in the morning, I picked out a simple tuxedo for the groom, groomsmen and the father of the bride. I was wondering if Tuxedos are too formal for that time of day?

I was also wondering if it is OK to have the groom and father of the bride in the same Tux, I picked the same tux and same vest for both of them is this alright to do?

Dear Jessc,

The proper attire for your time of day is actually not a tuxedo. The morning coat or cutaway jacket with striped pants and vest and ascot is the appropo attire.
