Rennaissance wedding attire for the groom...

My dress is rennaissance themed. How should the groom and his groomsmen dress? We want it being rennisance style without it looking completely foolish.

Your groom and his groomsmen could dress up as knights (complete with swords):-)

Cheers!

I'm not sure how cost effective that would be on a tight budget

You would rent the attire as costumes and it should be no more than it would be if the men were renting tuxedos.

Maybe they could wear old english cutaway jackets with ascots.

I was thinking the same. That would be awesome.
