     Shoes for FOG

My husband, the FOG, recently had surgery (unplanned) on both feet. He will be able to be out of the wheel chair for some of the festivities and duties the day of the wedding but will be unable to wear shoes. Formal late afternoon church ceremony, sit down dinner. Any suggestions on alternative footwear that may be appropriate?? Other than his slippers or hospital booties?

Dear DebB,

I wouldn't worry too much about this. As long as his feet are covered in some way, he is fine. He could even just wear just his socks. Most people would completely understand why he is not wearing formal shoes.

Best wishes,
