Should the father of the groom wear a tux for afternoon wedding
My son is having a 2 PM wedding with the reception following and ending around 7 PM. While I guess it's an afternoon wedding, it is at a formal location and the groom and ushers are all wearing a tux, as well as the father of the bride since he's in the wedding party. His tux will coordinate with his wife's gown. Should the father of the groom wear a tux to coordinate with my gown?

All of the men should dress the same, not coordinating with their wives' gowns. But, then again, a tux is formal evening attire. Proper formal daytime attire for men would be the stroller.
