     White Tux Jacket

My soon to be husband graduated from both high school and college in a white jacket. He really loves the look. For the ceremony he wants both himself and the grooms men to wear black jackets and also for the pictures. However afterwards he wants them all to change into white dinner jackets. THe wedding is planned for the end of april the wedding is 2pm and the reception is 7pm. Is this a good idea and is it appropriate for the time of year?

It probably would have been considered a bit early in the year for the white jacket years ago. But, I completely agree with David that it should be fine. After all it could be warm where you live that time of year and these days we choose the color and weight of the material based on the weather and location rather than time.

Enjoy!
