     dark suits or tuxedo's

My husband, myself and our four young adult children have been invited to a formal evening wedding. We are just friends of the bride and her parents We are not in the wedding. It is being held in an actual castle. I have two sons. My two daughters already have very formal dresses. Must I rent tux's for my husband and sons or is it appropriate for them to wear dark suits? ( all four of them are in college ,just trying to save $$) I will do what is apprpriate and acceptable.

Dear Lots of Tuxes,

The proper attire would be tuxedos. If there are a number of young people attending, they may be wearing suits. So many young people cannot afford to rent one and many don't know that they should.

So, it is either dress in the most appropriate attire or dress as a student.

Best wishes,
