     mixed military/civilian bridal party- HELP!

My wedding is about 2 months away, and I am in desperate need of advice. My fiance was in the army and served in Iraq, and he is proud of this fact. He will be wearing his dress blues during the ceremony. His brother served in the marines, and will also be wearing his dress blues.

There are only 2 men on the grooms side who will be standing at the front, my fiance's brother and my brother. My brother was not in the service, and I am at a loss as to what he should wear. My fiance's and his brother's suit coat are so dark they appear almost black. Do I get my brother a tux with a vest to match the bridesmaids, or does he just wear a regular black suit...or???

The men will be unmatched no matter what I do, I just don't know how to make it all flow. I have a tiny ring bearer in the wedding also.

Wedding will be held around 4:30p in a botanical garden.

My bridesmaids are wearing tea-length cloudy blue dresses.

All advice is welcome and appreciated!!! thank you.

Any non military participants on the groom's side would wear a tux.

Thanks for the help Nancy. One more question though, should I match my brothers vest with the bridesmaids dresses, or is it silly to match just one person? Thanks.

Due to the formality of the uniforms, I would stay with black all the way.

I agree. Even though the tux is formal evening attire, you are so close to that 'evening' time.
