My outdoor wedding is in July in a wooded area.The groom, groomsmen, and the ringbearer are all wearing taupe colored tuxedos with Ivory shirts. The groom and ringbearer are wearing ivory ties, and the groomsmen are wearing an orangy coral colored tie (which matches my bridesmaids). I am having trouble picking their shoes. What color of shoes would go best with these neutral colors?
Brown shoes would work nicely with the Taupe, Ivory, and Orangy Coral. For the groom, groomsmen and ring bearer, I suggest a nice brown dress shoe. And for the bridesmaids, a brown strappy shoe.
To go along with Taupe tuxedos, When I was at my Bridal store this weekend, the consultant told me that I should put the guys in Black Tux shoes, to make them look more formal. The groomsmen are wearing white shirts light blue vest and ties with pocket squares and the grrom and ringbearer are in white vest and tie. I am getting married at 4:30p at the end of May in a church. A little outside the box, but I really liked the Taupe color. I thought brown shoes would be best too, but I have no idea where to get them. Can you rent brown or taupe colored shoes?
