First marriage in Tahoe, 18, only his family invited, divorced by 19 1/2. Second marriage in Vegas, 23, (6mos. after my son was born), only a few close friends came, now in the process of divorcing. That marriage should have never happened to begin with. I've finally met my soul mate, and we are ever so much in love. He can't wait to marry me, and as soon as my divorce is final he's preparing to ask me properly. He too has been married twice.
Without going overboard, what's the right dress to wear? My sister is going to be my Maid of Honor. My dad will walk me up the isle (finally). I don't have very many friends, neither does he, so the wedding will be small. Should we just make it a family event? I don't want to spend a lot on everything. Putting my out of town friends up in hotels, etc. etc. I'm just really lost on this whole thing. Almost to the point that I've considered eloping again.
Any advice at this point would be nice. I'm scared *^#+less.
