     Beach Wedding Attire/Groom/Bridesmaid

I'm getting married March 2007 in Tulum, Mexico. We're planning to get married on the beach, with the mayan ruins in the background.

I actually got my wedding dress last week. It's satin, strapless, a-line...champaign colored and vintage looking. (My mom says it looks like something Audrey Hepburn would wear.) We're doing a "no shoes" wedding, so i'm getting my dressed hymed so it's above my ankles, longer in the back, shorter in the front.

My fiance had wanted to wear a linen shirt and pants. But is my satin dress to dressy for a linen suit?

If not, what color linen suit should he wear? and does he need a jacket? Do groomsmen (we're having 2) have to match?

I haven't picked my colors...so at this point, anything goes.

Please help :-)

Dear Beach Wedding,

The linen suit would be fine as long as it is a suit and not just slacks and a shirt. So, yes it should include a jacket. Cream would be best, because white may not blend as well with your dress.

All of the men would wear the same suit, including the fathers.

Best wishes,
