     Bustles

I have to create a bustle for my daughter's gown. It has no waiste and is an a line with a very full skirt. It doesn't have a true train, it just sort of is longer at the back by about 8 inches. She wants it to bustle without being frilly looking. any ideas? thanks, lynda

Hi Lynda:

Try this book:
Sewing for Special Ocassions: Bridal, Prom & Evening Dresses

If you cannot find that book then try contacting a local seamstress to ask for advice.
