I have found the wedding dress of my dreams; however there is one problem, it is from an online store. I am a little nervous of buying a dress that I have not tried on. But every dress that I have tried on does not even come close to the beauty of the dress I found online. What would you recommend that I do?

First, check them out with the better business bureau. If they are clear there then read over their return policy carefully.
Check out their site. Do they have clear contact information such as a phone number? Call the number during regular business hours to see who answers. If you get voicemail, do they return your call? Onve you get a live person, ask them about their return policies and shipping time.
Check to see if they have a secure server to protect your credit card and identity. Go to any page on their site where they ask for personal information such as your credit card or email address. If they have the little gold box at the bottom right corner or if the website address begins with https:// (not http://www...) then you can go ahead and feel comfortable submitting your order.
If it is an auction site, like ebay, you can actually see the sellers rating and the buyers comments.
When making your purchase use a credit card. In the event that you may have problems you can call your credit card company for help.
If a company makes itself accessible to its customers, uses a secure server and clearly posts its contact information, return policy, and privacy statement, it’s probably safe to order there. Use common sense, make sure to read all of their forms and pages on their site and use the advice above, and you’ll find that internet shopping can be as safe as going to the mall.
