Is it OK to have a champagne colored wedding dress with a white calla lily bouquet?

Dear Karie,
That sounds great...the green leaves & stem will set it off. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com

White and ivory is a classic combination that has a very romantic feel. You can either have your bouquet all ivory or you can have both ivory and white calla lillies. I have seen a lot of bouquets with the long greenery and branch-like pieces that are in a twisted (like a when you curl a ribbon on a gift) coming out of the bouquet. It is a nice way to break up the flowers and add a neutral color to the arrangement. Plus I think the "twists" are a nice touch to a different looking bouquet.

Of course it is ok...White callas are actually ivory anyway...There is also a slightly pink edged calla called Crystal blush you might look into. My preference these days is for the mini callas in a tight trumpeted handtied with a classic tailored wrap and no greens to speak of. Try a pearl pinned stem wrap ir similar treatment....Stunning...Have a really great wedding and happy planning!!!!!! Sue of Hobart's Fine Florals http://www.hobartsfineflorals.com
