Formal or Informal wedding Dress for Morning Wedding

I'm getting married Saturday Morning and having a champagne brunch afterwords. I chose this strictly for financial reasons. I am a first time Bride. Is it still appropriate for me to wear full wedding gown and veil and my bridesmaids to wear full lenght gowns?

Dear Jhctaylor,

Your attire should reflect the formality of the event. It sounds like yours is informal. So, it may be best to dress less formally.

Best wishes,
