This is my first marriage. I have found the most beautiful dress by Anjolique. However, it is a gold colored dress (dark ivory). I tried it in white, but it just didn't move me like the gold. My fiance told me to get the dress I want (the gold). I was worried that I should be wearing white, but I don't think that's my color anyway. Okay, now the dress is ordered and I am worrying if I should have ordered a white dress. The color is beautiful, but I am having a hard time finding complementary colors. And my fiance is also wanting to see me in a white dress. Of course, at this point, we will lose our $500 security deposit.
The groom and the groomsmen will be wearing black, so I have decided to place my BMs in black as well. (the wedding is at 5:00 in California in June). Now I am wondering what color I should use to add some color to the wedding and the pictures. I plan on changing during the reception and wanted to know if it would be okay to wear a black and white dress (to match the wedding party). As you can see I need lots of help... Thanks for your advice.
My picture is attached so that you can see my dress.
A gold dress is fine. Any color you wish to wear these days if fine. White really isn't 'the' color anymore. It is just the most often chosen.
Find something that is the same color as your dress and compare other colors to it. My first thought is red because it is so powerful. Red looks great with black also and red roses are very elegant. That could be a good theme.
Good luck with this! Planning is a long process. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
