How to avoid bloating and puffiness during hot destination wedding
Hello. I am getting married in November in the Dutch Carribbean. This past December I spend a month in Cartagena, Colombia (Same climate as where I am getting married). Looking back on my photos, my hands were so puffy from the heat that I didn't have any line around my knuckles. My clothes were getting tight by the end of the trip, but I just thought it was that way because I was on vacation and indulging. Twenty-four hours after I had returned home, my clothes fine again. I came to the conculsion that heat makes me puffy!
What can I do about this for my wedding, as my dress fits perfectly right now (size 10)?
I am worried that I am going to get puffy again and look terrible in my dress. Our wedding time, is 9 am, before it gets too hot out.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I guess the climate or the local food causes your body to retain water; that is what causes the "puffiness". You can switch to low-salt diet while on location to reduce water retension, but I would also highly recommend consulting with the doctor, who might have suggestions and even prescriptions to get rid of this extra water to avoid puffiness. Good luck and enjoy the wedding! Irina Feygin, IMpeccable iMage, Inc. Image and Beauty and For Princess Bride

Be sure to drink lots of water; before, during and after the wedding. This helps reduce swelling on the plane and at the destination. It also encourages weight loss.

I totally agree, if your concern is based on diet and water intake your doctor should be able to recommend something. Be sure to avoid salt and of course keep flushing the body with water. Best wishes. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
