I have a two-tier chapel length wedding veil made of, what seems like, very basic tulle. That isn't the problem though because I do love it. The problem is that I have it in a little bag right now. When I take it out, it's wrinkled and hard to straighten. Will it straighten itself out within a few days? If so, how much in advance should I take it out of the bag? My wedding isn't until October 6, 2007 so it's not urgent right now, but eventually.
My fiance and I live together, so I can't leave it out because he will see and he smokes. Also, all of my bridesmaids live 2 1/2+ hours away from me, so I can't keep it at their house. The closest friends I have in the city either have children or pets, so I'm afraid to leave it with them. Thank you!

Re: [pstakeheart] How to straighten a veil made of tulle?

maybe bring it to a dry cleaner and ask to have it pressed? I know they would be able to wrap it in plastic which would probably keep the smoke order away. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
