     I found it!

Ok, so I found my perfect dress! It is a Maggie Sottero but unfortunately it cannot come in the color I want.
I know a local designer who is still trying to make a name for herself, for whom I have modeled dresse and I love her style.
My question is: would it be insulting to ask this designer to recreate my dress in a different color? I am open to some small changes if need be, but I love this dress!
Any advice?

I think you would have to speak to the designer since there may be legal ramifications.

Hi Denea,

Is your dress Inga by Maggie Sottero????? I have ordered this dress a few months ago, and I came across your bridesmaid colour pictures!! I am having the same dilemma - because the dress is Ivory with champagne, I am thinking about Champagne bridesmaid dresses. However, as I love the colour pink and want to make it th theme of my day in the flowers, ribbons etc!!! Initially I wanted pink bridesmaid dresses, but I really want the bridessmaids to match me too, which is why I thought Champagne would be good. My only worry is that champagne will make my bridemsiads look washed out, as they are all fairly pale.

Wondered if you had found anything further out, or booked your bridesmaid dresses? Or even better already got married, and have some photos?!

I also have a Maggie dress in champagne, my bridesmaids are wearing a very light pink.I was told that champagne ,pink and ivory were all in the same color family.

Yes champagne, pink and ivory are in the same color family. It's really a beautiful soft look.

If your girls are wearing pink then do champagne colored jewelry and accessories and if your girls are wearing champagne do pink accessories.

I saw a great combination of pink and champagne pearls on an illusion chain with matching earrings. There are a ton of great ways to accessorise. You can do different jewelry to suit each girls personality and make your girls look less cookie cutter if you stick to the same designer. So you can choose crystals/or pearls and have a necklace made for one girl and a beautiful bracelet made for another.
