     Long sleeved wedding dress

Hia,

I am getting married in August 2005 and wanted to wear a 3/4 sleeve wedding dress but am a little bit worried that I will be too hot, also the material to make the sleeves (my Mum and I are making my dress) is satin and I keep giving myself electric shocks with it!! The rest of the dress is ok because it is lined with cotton poplin and I wondered if it was a good idea to line the sleeves too or just hope for the best?

Since the sleeves on the dress are giving off shocks, then it makes sense to line it. Also if you line the dress, it will be hotter, but it might be better if you sweat. When you sweat and satin is against your skin you will see the wet marks. So I would definitely line the sleeves in a breathable cotton that won't make you as hot and can handle it if you sweat.

Woman suffer for beauty all of the time. So if you want to wear a 3/4 length sleeve dress and that is what you picture yourself wearing on your big day, go for it. You might be hot, but you will look as beautiful as you invisioned which is more important. Plus depending on the time of day the wedding is it might cool down a little.

Have fun,
