MOG strappy shoes

The bride and MOB are wearing closed toed shoes. I am the MOG and want to wear elegant, strappy shoes. Is that proper etiquette?

Dear Kw,
As long as you are not dressed more formally than the MOB, you are fine. Your shoes are not a problem.
