Pantyhose or thigh high stockings under wedding dress
I am wearing a flat type shoe maybe 1/2 inch high with the toe out of my shoe, more like a sandal. Is it best to wear pantyhose or thigh high nylons? It is in Dec. I will be wearing a high topped girdle because extra weight. I was going to wear knee-highs but for the garter throwing, that won't look good with knee-highs.

The knee-highs are out of the question. I would suggest thigh high nylons with wide lacy band. You may want to find the "toeless" kind to accommodate your toes peeking out of your shoe. Yes, I agree. Wearing nylons with open toed shoes is considered a faux pas. So, the toe-less nylons is the way to go. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
